The Emporia High boys cross country team finished in 1st place at Winfield Thursday.
The Spartans were led by Treyson True who finished in 1st place. Ian Coleman-Hull was 3rd, Zac Proehl 9th, Dylan Davis 11th and Caleb Hollenbeck 12th.
The girls were led by Avery Gutierrez who finished in 2nd place. Taryn West finished 4th, Kelsey Boettcher 9th and Miranda Taylor 21st. The Emporia High girls did not field a full team.
