The Emporia State volleyball team was defeated by Pittsburg State in 5 sets Friday night.
Emporia State won the first two sets 25-21, 25-18. Pittsburg State won sets 3 and 4 25-20 and 25-17. Pittsburg State won the 5th set 15-9. Emporia State was led by Yuchen Du and Tatum Graves with 15 kills each. The Emporia State volleyball team is now 7-11 for the season and 2-4 in MIAA play. Saturday the Lady Hornets play at 18th ranked Central Oklahoma.
