The Emporia High girls golf team finished in 4th place at the Manhattan Invitational played at the Manhattan Country Club Monday in their final tune up before next weeks regional tournament.
Individually Makayla Kusmaul finished in 13th place with a 109, Drue Davis was 14th with a 112, Veronica Blankley 20th with a 117 and Brynn Riley 24th with a 127.
The Lady Spartans will be playing in the 5A regional hosted by Basehor-Linwood at Dubs Dread golf course in Kansas City Monday, October 8th. The 5A State tournament will be played at Hesston on October 15th. The Emporia Golf course will be hosting the 3-2-1A State tournament. Volunteers are needed to help with the state tournament.
