Halloween will once again bring tricks and treats to the David Traylor Zoo this year.
The annual Boo in the Zoo is planned from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 and Zoo Director Lisa Keith says the event is a safe place for parents to bring their kids.
The early time is to allow parents enough time to do other festivities across town. She says the animals also get a kick out of watching children and adults in costumes.
There is some groundwork beginning at the zoo for the Oasis campaign renovations, but Keith says there’s nothing that will hinder traffic in or out of the zoo.
