The Emporia State soccer team rallied for a 2-1 win over Missouri Southern Friday afternoon.
Southern scored 1st in the 27th minute of play. Emporia State tied the match in the 74th minute of play on a header by Makayla Brady. With 1:13 left to play Rachel Marshall scored from 15 yards out for the winner, on her birthday.
The Lady Hornets improve to 8-2-1 for the season and 3-1 in the MIAA. They are scheduled to host Southwest Baptist Sunday with kick-off at 2pm.
