The Emporia State volleyball team plays at Southwest Baptist Friday.
The Lady Hornets are 8-12 for the season and 2-5 in MIAA play. 4 of the 5 conference losses have been to ranked teams. Southwest Baptist is 4-16 and 0-7 in the MIAA.
Sophomore Valerie Golder has seen more playing time due to injuries.
The Lady Hornets will be playing without Yuchen Du and Jamie Hauptman who are out with concussions.
