The Emporia High girls golf team is headed to state. The Lady Spartans finished in 3rd place at Thursdays regional tournament played at Sunflower Hills golf course.
Shawnee Heights finished in 1st place and Topeka Seaman finished in 2nd place. Individually Drue Davis finished in 4th place with a 99. Makayla Kusmaul finished in 5th place with a 102 and Brynn Riley finished in 11th place with a 115. The 5A State golf tournament is scheduled to be played Monday at Hesston.
The 3-2-1A tournament is scheduled to be played at the Emporia Golf Course.
All State tournaments will be shotgun starts beginning at noon.
