Olpe dominated Marion on both sides of the ball enroute to a 52-0 win Friday night.
Olpe jumped out to an early 28-0 lead in the first quarter thanks to a Kynden Rober touchdown run and three touchdown runs by Blain Hinrichs. The Eagles would take a 42-0 lead into halftime thanks again to a touchdown run from Hinrichs and a run from quarterback Coelby Hoelting.
The Olpe defense smothered Marion all night holding the Warrior offense to just 90 yards of offense.
Hinrichs led Olpe with 156 yards off six carries and four touchdowns. As a team, Olpe carried the ball 36 times for 343 yards on the ground and 435 yards of total offense.
Hinrichs gave the credit to the offensive line.
With the win, Olpe now improves to 7-0 on the regular season and 2-0 in district play. Marion falls to 1-6 on the season and 0-2 in district play.
