An Overland Park woman suffered minor injuries after a deer hit her vehicle on Interstate 35 near the Lyon-Coffey county line Saturday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Jessica Padron was southbound when the crash happened near milepost 143 at around 7:15 pm. Padron suffered no apparent injuries from the crash itself, but she apparently had minor injuries when the airbags were deployed.
Padron declined a trip to a hospital afterward.
