The Emporia High girls golf team will be playing in the 5A state golf tournament Tuesday at Hesston. Maykayla Kusmaul, Drew Davis, Brynn Riley and Veronica Blankley will be representing Emporia High.
The 3-2-1A state tournament was played Monday at the Emporia Golf Course. Syracuse won the team championship. Rylie Cook of Stanton County took medalist honors with a 76. Osage City finished in 10th place, they were led by Taylor Woodard who finished in a tie for 17th place with a 98.
