In 1A Regional volleyball play Tuesday night Olpe advanced to the Flint Hills Sub-State tournament.
Olpe defeated Flint Hills in the Championship match 25-12, 25-21. In the semi-finals Olpe defeated Chase County 25-20, 25-18. In the first round Chase County defeated Madison 25-19, 25-16. Lebo defeated Hartford 25-13, 25-18. Flint Hills defeated Lebo in the semi-finals in 3 sets 20-25, 25-22, 25-14.
Sub-State tournaments will be played Saturday.
The 1A State Volleyball tournament will be played in Emporia October 26th and 27th.
The Emporia High volleyball team will be playing in the St. Thomas Aquinas Sub-State tournament Saturday. The Lady Spartans will face Spring Hill in the first round. The other first round match has St. Thomas Aquinas playing Bonner Springs.
