It is week 8 of the High School football season. Emporia High plays at Junction City. The Spartans are 3-4 going into the game. Junction City is 4-3. Both teams are 3-3 in Centennial League play.
Emporia High Coach Corby Milleson says he likes the Spartans chances.
Junior Beau Baumgardner says they need to play with the same intensity they did last week.
Junior Riley Wagner says the game will help them get ready for the rest of the season.
Kick-off is set for 7pm in Junction City. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
