The Emporia State cross country teams finished in 2nd place in the Homecoming Invitational Friday. The Northwest Missouri State women and men both finished in 1st place.
The Emporia State men were led by Sam Hengeli who finished in 2nd place.
Grant Knoll finished in 4th place, Matthew Maki 6th, Cole Bosley 8th and Lucas Shryock 11th.
The Emporia State women were led by Hannah Showalter who finished in 6th place, Leah Nelson finished 8th, Kaitlyn Karjala 9th, Nora Wheatley 12th and Joanna Strecker 13th.
Emporia State will host the MIAA meet November 3rd.
