Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma has announced that they will be joining the MIAA Conference starting in fall 2019 pending formal approval from the university’s governing board.
The MIAA conference leadership on Thursday afternoon voted to welcome Rogers State as an associate member for the 2019-2020 season in all sports in which the university participates, which does not include football.
Two schools, Lindenwood and Southwest Baptist have announced they will be leaving the MIAA for the GLVC. With the addition of Rogers State and Newman the MIAA will have 14 schools. 12 of the schools participate in football.
