The season came to an end for the Emporia High volleyball team in sub-state play Saturday.
The Lady Spartans were defeated by Spring Hill 25-15, 25-17. Emporia High finishes the season with a 15-18 record.
The Olpe and Burlington volleyball teams qualified for State.
