The Emporia State football team will renew their oldest rivalry Saturday when they play at Washburn. It will be the 115th meeting between the 2 schools.
Both teams are 4-4 for the season. Emporia State Coach Garin Higgins will be relying on the seniors to finish the season strong.
The Hornets have 3 games left. Washburn Saturday, then Missouri Southern and at Central Oklahoma.
Senior quarterback Braxton Marstall now holds the school record for total offense, passing and rushing yards combined. He passed Brent Wilson wiht 285 yards of total offense and now has 9,700 yards of total offense.
