Emporia’s Regional Economic Outlook Conference is slated for Friday.
Economics experts at the local, state and federal level will provide insights into current and possible future trends:
*ESU Director of the Center for Business and Economic Development Marc Fusaro will start the conference with data from the Emporia State Economic Index.
*Wichita State’s Director for the Center for Economic Development and Business Research Jeremy Hill provides the state outlook.
*Kelly Edmiston, an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will discuss economic conditions in low- and moderate-income communities.
*Dr. Stan Longhofer, the director of Wichita State’s Center for Real Estate, will give the annual real estate outlook.
*ESU Director for the Center for Economic Education and Community Research Rob Catlett finishes the conference with a look at local trends.
