Tickets are still available if you want to see an up-and-coming country music group Friday night.
Farewell Angelina comes to town as part of the Emporia Arts Center’s Performing Arts Series, and group member Ashley Gearing says you can expect a show that taps a lot of different musical genres.
Farewell Angelina is on several “band to watch” lists, including ones recently compiled by Rolling Stone and Roughstock. The group was also voted by fans to receive the coveted “hot spot” during the Taste of Country 2017 Risers program.
The concert starts at 7 pm at the Granada Theatre. Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for youth. They are available by calling the Arts Center at 343-6473 or by going online to www.emporiaksarts.org.
