The State cross country meets will be held Saturday. 6-5-3A will run at Rim Rock at Lawrence. 1-2-4A will run at Wamego.
The Emporia High boys team will be running in the 5A race.
Senior Ian Coleman-Hull will be one of the runners for the Spartans.
Treyson True has been the lead runner for the Spartans this season.
Zac Proehl is looking to improve on last years race.
Representing the Emporia High girls will be Taryn West.

The Northern Heights boys, Burlington boys and Osage City boys and girls will be running as teams.
Olpes Macy Smith and Jed Cole qualified for state. Makinzie Peterson of Waverly, Emmy Punches of Burlingame and Kaitlyn Caldwell of Burlington also qualified for State.
