Approval of insurance premiums will be the hot topic of discussion during Thursday’s action meeting for the Lyon County Commission.
Interim Aging Services Director Michael Halleran will seek approval for Friendship meals health insurance premiums in the amount of $3,499.94 to benefit the North-Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging. The Area Agency took over providing services for senior citizens in Lyon County just last week.
Commissioners will also hear from Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods in regards to posted weight limits on five bridges and removing the weight limit from 17.
Four executive sessions are also planned. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. inside the Lyon County Courthouse.
