Rural Street from Ninth to 15th avenue put on their best Halloween show, as the many trick or treaters gave some treats of their own.
Event organizer and ESU professor, Dr. Melissa Bailey, with assistance from the Locard Forensic Society, continued the third annual Rural Street Food Drive. The donations will again be benefitting women in crisis situations locally.
Community members were dressed in their best Halloween attire, as the kids made their way down Rural Street, receiving after donating.
Totals are pending. This is the second straight year the drive helped Plumb Place after helping the Emporia Rescue Mission in 2016.
