For the second time in program history the Emporia State soccer team will be playing in the MIAA tournament semi-finals. The Lady Hornets will play Central Missouri, a team they defeated earlier this season, Friday afternoon.
Senior Jackie Martinek says they need to play the same way they did against Central Missouri on Sunday.
Junior Chloe Flynn from Dublin, Ireland says they have to play with the same intensity.
Emporia State Coach Brian Sailer would like to have a better start, after giving up a goal in the first minute of play Sunday.
The other semi-final has Central Oklahoma playing Fort Hays State.
The two winners will meet in the championship match on Sunday.
Both the semi-finals and finals will be hosted by Central Oklahoma.
