Lyon County deputies continue their investigation into alleged cattle thefts from the Bushong area.
The thefts were first reported in late July after an alleged theft along the Flint Hills Nature Trail. Deputies believe five cattle were stolen as part of two separate reports.

A reward of up to $1,000 is now on the table for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
This is the second active cattle theft investigation in the area. Greenwood County deputies are still looking for the suspects who took as many as 18 Holsteins from a pasture near Lamont last month.
