Election Day is Tuesday, and one political candidate has confirmed a trip to the KVOE listening area before the big day.
Congressional candidate Alan LaPolice will be in Emporia and Council Grove on Monday. LaPolice, a Democrat, is challenging incumbent Republican Roger Marshall, who is seeking his second term in office. Marshall has not announced an area stop before Election Day. The local stop for LaPolice will be at Gravel City Roaster at 3:30 pm.
Advance voting finishes Monday, with voting from 8 am to noon. Polls will be open across Kansas from 7 am to 7 pm Tuesday.
