The Emporia State basketball teams tip-off their seasons Friday night against nationally ranked teams.
The Lady Hornets open against 20th ranked Southwestern Oklahoma State in the MIAA/GAC crossover in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Coach Toby Wynn wants the team to compete for 40 minutes.
Junior Morgan Lauden says they are excited to get the season started.
