The Olpe high school football team has advanced to the 1-A sub-state game. The Eagles held on for a 20-18 win over Centralia Friday night. They will host Pittsburg Colgan next Friday for the right to advance to the 1A State Championship game.
Waverly was defeated by Axtell 54-8. The Bulldogs end the season with a 9-2 record.
