The Emporia State womens basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 88-61 over Oklahoma Baptist Saturday.
Tyra Jones led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Jessica Wayne added 19 points, Addie Lackey finished with 17 points and Emily Miller scored 16 points. The Lady Hornets used a 14-2 run to close out the first quarter to take a lead they would not give up. The Emporia State women will play at Northwestern Oklahoma State Thursday.
