Kansas State out score Kansas 21-17 to win the Sunflower showdown Saturday. Kansas State quarterback Alex Delton scored on a 21 yard run with 2:46 to play to give the Wildcats the win.
Kansas led 3-0 at halftime. Kansas State had their first lead after a 24 yard run by Alex Barnes in the 3rd quarter. Peyton Bender threw a touchdown pass to Jeremiah Booker and to Steven Sims. Alex Barnes also scored on a 2 yard run for Kansas State. The Wildcats have now won the last 10 games against Kansas. Kansas State will host Texas Tech next Saturday. Kansas plays at Oklahoma.
