The fifth annual Match Day is coming Monday through the Emporia Community Foundation.
Better than 20 local and area community groups and agencies will pack Flinthills Mall from 9 am to 7 pm. Community Foundation Director Becky Jeppesen is ready for the big day.
As has been the case in the past, the participating groups will take advantage of community donations as well as a $50,000 matching pool from the Clint Bowyer 79 Fund, Hopkins Foundation, Reeble Foundation, Trusler Foundation and Jones Testamentary Trust.
One of the new features to Match Day 2018 is the ability to donate online Monday. Residents can go to www.emporiacf.org from midnight to midnight.
