An El Dorado resident was hurt in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Chase County late Tuesday night.
The Turnpike Authority says the wreck happened shortly after 11 pm near mile marker 108 southbound. A pickup driven by 48-year-old Michael Cohorn of El Dorado was broken down on the southbound shoulder. For currently unlisted reasons, a semi driven by 43-year-old Buck Holliday of Milan, Tenn., crossed the so-called fog line and hit the pickup.
Cohorn was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment. His condition will not be released. Holliday was not hurt.
