Several Osage County law enforcement agencies are investigating after a recent business burglary in Osage City.
The Osage City Police Department says officers were called to the site of a reported burglary in the 500 block of South Sixth on Monday. The list of stolen items was mostly limited to tools.
On Tuesday, Osage City officers joined Burlingame Police and Osage County deputies in serving a search warrant in the 200 block of West Lincoln in Burlingame. Most of the stolen tools were recovered but nobody was home at the time of the search.
Osage City Police Chief Fred Nech says potential charges will be forwarded to the Osage County Attorney’s Office for prosecution and arrest warrants for the person or people responsible. Suspect names have not been released.
