Kansas State out scored Texas Tech 21-6 Saturday.
The Wildcat defense held the Red Raiders to 31 rushing yards and 181 total yards of offense. Texas Tech kicked two 1st quarter fieldgoals and that was their only scoring of the day. Kansas State kicked 4 fieldgoals. They had a safety on a blocked kick that went out of the endzone. Quarterback Skylar Thompson threw a 8 yard touchdown pass to Malik Knowles. The Wildcats are now 5-6 for the season. They need a win at Iowa State next Saturday to become bowl eligible.
