Portions of the KVOE listening area are now under a winter weather advisory after freezing drizzle developed.
Morris and Wabaunsee counties are in an advisory until 4 am Sunday.
The National Weather Service says freezing drizzle will cause hazardous travel conditions, so drivers need to be cautious.
Freezing drizzle is also possible across Lyon County and other neighboring counties, although the chances of freezing precipitation and resulting travel difficulties are not as strong as they are to our north and northwest. Freezing fog, however, may lead to a thin ice glaze and thus pose travel problems across Lyon, Chase, Coffey and Osage counties overnight.
Stay with KVOE and KVOE.com for updates.
