It was a back-and-forth battle that saw four lead changes in the final 10 minutes of the game, and the two teams combined for 1,001 yards of total offense with 105 total points.
The Rams scored the winning touchdown with 1:56 to play. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw 6 touchdown passes. He also threw 3 interceptions including a pick 6 and fumbled twice with one returned for a touchdown. The Chiefs defense also returned a fumble for a touchdown. Tyreek Hill had 2 touchdown pass receptions and finished with 215 receiving yards. Rams quarterback Jared Goff threw 4 touchdown passes. Chiefs Coach Andy Reid called it a heavyweight battle.
