The Emporia High boys return 1 starter Jace Stewart, but have 7 seniors on the roster. Emporia High boys Coach Beau Welch says this team has a lot of depth.
Coach Welch likes the way the team is coming together.
The Emporia High girls return 3 starters, Taylor Milleson, the lone senior on the roster, along with juniors Mya Tovar and Rayanna Breshears. Coach Carolyn Dorsey says the guard play has improved.
Coach Dorsey says this team has a better understanding of the game.
Both teams open their seasons December 4th at home against Wichita Independent.
