Emporia Police are investigating an incident where one person allegedly shot somebody else’s car earlier this month.
Officers took a report of unlawful discharge of a firearm at Eastgate Plaza shortly before 4 pm Friday. The report indicates damage to the driver-side front quarter panel, driver-side tire and the front bumper. At least two shell casings were apparently found on site.
The vehicle was apparently empty when the incident happened.
Sgt. Lisa Sage says there are currently no leads, and no suspect information has come in to investigators.
