The Emporia State womens basketball team will be hosting the LaQuinta Inn/Quality Inn Thanksgiving Classic Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Hornets will be playing their home opener Friday night against Arkansas Fort Smith at 7:30p. Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn says the 3-1 Lady Hornets cannot take the 1-4 Lions lightly.
In the days first game East Central Oklahoma plays Northern State with tipoff at 5:30p.
Saturday afternoon the Lady Hornets will play Northern State with tip-off at 3:30p. At 1:30 East Central Oklahoma plays Arkansas Fort Smith.
The Lady Hornets are 3-1 on the season. Coach Toby Wynn says one of the strengths will be the ability to score from anywhere on the floor.
The Emporia State men will play Bethel Saturday evening at 7:30p.
