The Kansas Football team wrapped up their season Friday with a 24-17 loss to Texas.
Texas led at halftime 7-0. Texas added 2 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter to take 21-0 lead to the 4th quarter. Kansas would score all 17 points in the 4th quarter. Freshman running back Pooka Williams Jr. scored on a 57 yard run. he finished the day with his fourth 100-yard rushing performance of the year. Junior wide receiver Daylon Charlot added to the KU score with a 31-yard touchdown pass reception. Gabriel Rui added a 47 yard fieldgoal. It was the final game for David Beaty as the Head Coach of the Jayhawks. Kansas finishes the season with a 3-9 record. They were 1-8 in the Big 12.
Texas will play in the Big-12 Championship game next Saturday against Oklahoma.
Oklahoma out scored West Virginia 59-56.
