8 State High School football Champions were crowned Saturday.
Smith Center won the 1A Championship game defeating Olpe 59-0. It was the only loss of the season for Olpe.
In the 6A Championship game Derby out scored Blue Valley North 24-16.
In the 5A Championship game it was St. Thomas Aquinas defeating Wichita Northwest 49-28.
In the 4A Championship game Bishop Miege rolled to a 69-31 win over Goddard. Its the 5th straight title for Miege.
In the 3A Championship game Sabetha edged Pratt 43-42 in overtime to repeat as Champion.
In the 2A Championship game Phillipsburg shutout Riley County 27-0.
In the 8-Man Division I Championship game Central Plains defeated Solomon 52-6.
In the 8-Man Division II Championship game Hanover out scored Osborne 58-50.
