Osage City Police say they have identified the owner of an SUV that they believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon. However, they have not divulged that person’s name or said whether there are any arrests in the case.
Officers say the SUV crashed into a light pole in the 200 block of Market Street around 2 pm Monday.
A man and woman were inside, reportedly fighting or arguing at the time of the crash, so Osage City PD says a domestic violence situation may also be part of this incident. There is no description available for the man, who was driving. The only description for the woman is she has long brown hair with a thin face and glasses.
The suspect vehicle is a 4-door Ford SUV with a luggage rack, aluminum or chrome wheels and running boards. It will have front-end damage around the center tag area, and it may have windshield damage as well.
If you have information, call Osage City Police at 785-528-3131.
