Following what will be an exciting end to 2018, the Granada Theatre has already begun building their schedule for 2019.
Granada Theatre Director Aden Lindholm joined KVOE’s Morning Show Monday and announced on Feb. 13, 2019, the Granada will welcome four-time Grammy Award winner Lyle Lovett. According to Lindholm, Lovett has been a sought-after performer for the Granada for quite some time.
Lovett began his career in 1980 and has released 13 different albums as well as 25 singles. Lovett has amassed a slew of awards including four Grammys for best male country vocal performer in 1990, best pop collaboration and best country performance by a duo or group in 1995 and best country album in 1997.
Lovett is no stranger to the area as he has been a special guest performer for Symphony in the Flinthills on two separate occasions in 2010 and most recently in 2015.
Before Lovett takes the stage in Feb. The Granada will close out 2018 with a slew of shows including the Emporia Symphony Orchestra Tuesday and the Shenandoah Good Ole Fashioned Christmas show Friday evening.
Tickets for Lyle Lovett go on sale Wednesday for Friends of the Granada and general ticket sales begin Monday, Dec. 10.
