The Emporia State Track and Field began the indoor season with the Boo Rogers Multis at Pittsburg State Friday. Brianna Schmitz finished in 3rd place in the pentathlon and provisionally qualified for nationals. In the heptathlon after the first day Tanner Raubenstien is in 3rd place. The rest of the Emporia State track and field team will be competing in the Pittsburg State Crimson and Gold Invitational Saturday.
