One person was hurt in a car-semi crash in eastern Greenwood County on Saturday night.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Adrienne Wahl of Chanute was eastbound on US Highway 400 when the crash happened around 8:45 pm about nine miles east of Severy. Wahl’s car went left of center for unlisted reasons and hit a westbound semi driven by 49-year-old Christopher Cox of Bucyrus, Ohio.
Cox was not hurt, but Wahl was initially taken to Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka before being airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. The hospital has not released her condition.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts when the crash happened.
