Discussions on changes to the proposed policy regarding alcohol sales at White Auditorium will be a major topic of discussion during the Emporia City Commission’s study session Wednesday.
Commissioners will review the changes which were made after feedback was presented to commissioners during their Oct. 10 study session. The proposed changes include 20 percent of gross alcohol sales returning to the city, increased fees for events to be held on holidays and a requirement that only vendors on the City’s Approved Vendor List may sell alcohol within the auditorium.
Also on the agenda the Commission will review downtown fencing charges, discuss rates for the Emporia Municipal Golf Course and discuss the proposed 2019 legislative policy.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in conference room 1AB inside White Auditorium.
