Education redesign will be a major topic of consideration during the USD 253 school board meeting Wednesday night.
Representatives of William Allen White and Logan Avenue Elementary schools will present their final education redesign proposals. Following a presentation during last month’s board meeting, both schools have elected to jointly share their final presentations.
If the board grants approval both buildings will continue to pilot redesign concepts for the remainder of the 2018-19 academic year. Additional concepts will be refined and implemented 2019-20 and beyond.
Also on the agenda will be a presentation of the 2019-20 enrollment guide for Emporia Middle School.
One executive session is also planned.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Mary Herbert Education Center.
