Lyon County deputies are investigating after a vehicle and grass fire near Olpe on Saturday.
The fire developed near Roads 60 and U around 12:30 pm. Besides damaging a vehicle, the fire also burned about an acre of grass before it was brought under control.
Olpe Fire coordinated the fire response with Emporia Fire serving as mutual aid. Further details on the fire are pending.

Emporia and Olpe firefighters were called to Roads 60 and U after a vehicle fire developed around 12:30 pm. That particular fire also caught about an acre of nearby grass on fire before it was extinguished.
