Windy conditions will push across the KVOE listening area all day Thursday.
A wind advisory will be in effect for Chase County from noon to 5 pm. Wind gusts could be as high as 45 mph Thursday afternoon.
Elsewhere, winds won’t be as high — but they will be noticeable, gusting as high as 35 mph. The high winds, coupled with relatively dry conditions the last two weeks, will elevate the fire danger across the area.
