The Emporia High girls and boys basketball teams play their final games before going on the Christmas Break Thursday with games at Topeka High.
Lady Spartans will face another ranked team. Topeka High is ranked 7th in 6A. Emporia High Coach Carolyn Dorsey says the focus remains to improve.
The 8th ranked Emporia High boys face a Topeka High team that is ranked 9th in 6A. Junior Connor Hoyt hopes they can build off of Tuesdays win over Highland Park.
Girls game is set to tip-off at 6pm followed by the boys game. Both games will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
