A motions hearing is set for Thursday in the case of an Emporia man accused of stabbing another man this year.
Hayward McKoy will be in Lyon County District Court to request certain evidence be suppressed in his case. The hearing starts at 11 am.
McKoy allegedly stabbed another Emporia man with a knife in the IHOP parking lot before allegedly fleeing the scene. He is accused of aggravated battery and interference with law enforcement.
