Wichita State was out scored by Virginia Commonwealth 70-54 Saturday. After trading the lead in the first half the Shockers were out scored 33-20 in the second half. Marcus McDuffie was the leading scorer for Wichita State finishing with 16 points. The Shockers are now 7-5 for the season. The will open American Athletic Conference play January 3rd at Memphis.
